Veterans Care Wellness
After serving our country at all levels of leadership, Veterans are sometimes the last to reach out for help. Whether serving on Active Duty, Reserves, or National Guard the training and conditioning from the military can leave Veterans feeling weak or shame when reaching out for help. With an average of over 20 Veterans dying by suicide per day there is a need for care outside of the traditional treatment modalities. With me being a U.S. Army Veteran, I understand the needs of women Veterans/women of color Veterans and how service can present even more challenges. I understand how sometimes those challenges do not end once the service ends. I provide a relatable experience for clients who have served by offering a safe space to unpack their feelings and learn coping skills without having to mask their military experiences due to fear of being judged.
